Local Public Authorities (LPAs) play a central role in the practical application of the European Union\u2019s legal framework, which directly influences life at the local, regional, and national levels. It is within communities that European regulations and standards are translated into reality, making LPAs key actors in implementing reforms. <\/span><\/p>

In the context of EU accession negotiations, the role of LPAs becomes even more important, as they are responsible for implementing European standards across a wide range of areas\u2014from environment and infrastructure to education, health, economic development, and social services. At the same time, they manage complex processes such as public procurement, local governance, and investments, all of which have a direct impact on citizens\u2019 quality of life. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Through the PACE Local project, SALAR International draws on experience gained in several candidate countries and recently acceded EU Member States to implement in Moldova a support strategy focused on information and awareness-raising, capacity building related to the EU acquis, and access to EU funding.
